The Evil of Frankenstein (1964) is the third of Hammer's Frankenstein series. Directed by future Oscar-winner Freddie Francis, and scripted by Anthony Hinds with Kiwi Kingston as the creature created by Frankenstein (Peter Cushing).
The Baron returns to his ancestral home in Karlstaad with his assistant Hans (Sandor Eles) determined to continue his experiments. The original creature is found preserved in a glacier, and through the criminal plot of carnival hypnotist Zoltan, is unleashed in a reign of terror once more...
The film features a make-up based upon the Jack Pierce version produced for the Boris Karloff-starring Universal series, and also stars Peter Woodthorpe, Duncan Lamont, and Katy Wild.
