Downtown
A mysterious woman appears at seedy but hard-boiled detective Al
Pereira'a agency in Puerto Rico. She wants him to take some compromising
pictures of her unfaithful husband, a notorious nightclub owner.
Pereira hesitantly accepts the job. It is soon discovered that the
husband has been killed and the police believe Pereira to be the killer.
Starring Lina Romay, Paul Muller, Jess Franco and Beni Cardoso.
Downtown is a very erotic masterpiece starring Jesus Franco himself
as a private detective. A fine film for lovers of sexy seventies cinema
and a must-see for Franco fans.
