His twisted hazing rituals include extreme physical and mental torture that lead the boys down a horrific path of destruction and death. But death may be just the beginning, as this gritty twisted film unfolds. Inspired by actual events and set in the year 1979, FRAT HOUSE MASSACRE is a disturbing journey through the twisted world of fraternity boys, pledges and the not-so-innocent sorority sisters swept up in their madness. Loaded with violence, gore, nudity and a fantastic music score by Claudio Simonetti, this DVD is the director's cut containing over twenty minutes of additional footage.

Zombie Movie Automaton Transfusion Arrives on DVD

When you’ve seen as many bad, bad, bad low-budget zombie movies as I have (usually made by a guy with a camcorder and some people he conned off the street), you can easily get a bit jaded. But I have to admit, after taking a look at the trailer for Steven C. Miller’s 2006 zombie opus “Automaton Transfusion” (supposedly the first of a planned trilogy), my curiosity has been pique. This thing doesn’t look half bad!

Government experiments to resurrect the dead and transform them into super soldiers go horribly wrong, leaving a rampaging horde of the zombified guinea pigs to wreak havoc on a small town. Fortunately, three resourceful high school students demonstrate a knack for putting the ferocious flesh eaters out of their misery. The first installment of a planned trilogy, this low-budget fright film stars Garrett Jones, Juliet Reeves.

There are disturbing parallels to not only alienated international youth culture of the time but also the dictatorship of Generalissimo Francisco Franco who ruled Spain until his death in 1975. This marriage of grand guignol thriller and subtle, stinging social satire is supremely entertaining and comparable to such masters as Roman Polanski, Luis Bunuel and Mario Bava.

Acting out of retribution, the zombies tear, rip and bite anyone in their path of vengeance. Containing plenty of gore, and an early 1980's-style, this is one not to be missed.
